This rare and lovely red dahlia or possibly chrysanthemum brooch features beautiful detail. Each petal on the two flowers along with the veins of the leaves shout quality. The centers of each flower hold a deep orang faceted rhinestone as well as another one at the base of the smaller flower along the stem. The brooch is marked Coro on the back of the clasp. Produced in the 1940s the brooch shows very minimal signs of wear. A bit of plating loss on the back and two tiny spots of enamel loss on the smaller flower.
