A lovely sterling silver tiny salt spoon from the 1940s. These brooches were quite popular in their day. There are two stories about the origin of these, one was they were sorority pins and the other is they were tokens of a new brides silver pattern. Either way, these miniature silver works of art are lovely. This one is in the Damask Rose pattern by Oneida which was introduced in 1946.
