This beautiful old Persian story brooch is hand painted and edged with silver filigree. It depicts a hunting scene with men riding on horseback in mid chase running past a camp site with a tent. Hand painted on Mother of pearl shell and edged with tiny silver filigree flowers. The shell and painting are in excellent condition with no loss of paint, however the filigree is a slight bit damaged as it's extremely delicate.
Measures 2" x 1 1/2" with an angle mounted open C clasp closure
