This beautiful Victorian symbolic brooch is carved from mother of pearl and finished with brass wire. It retains its original long pin with C clasp closure. The Victorian era was filled with symbolism and this small brooch is thought to be a mourning pin. It is in excellent condition and would look lovely on a blouse, lapel, or hat. There are no markings.
