This incredible box appears to be handmade and features a center floral bouquet pattern surrounded by a gold geometric box pattern on the top. The top appears to be decoupaged rather than painted. There is definite wear to the box as it's at least 100 years old including crazing of the finish. The hinge works well and the box is still very usable. It would make a lovely trinket or pin box. This would be a fabulous addition to a collection as well. Unmarked, but an overall lovely piece of history.
